AIFD is ranked high among India’s leading fashion design institutions providing quality education to students who are the wards of either ESM or in service and hence from all the parts of the country. AIFD was established in 2004 with a vision to be a world class institution for fashion and apparel design education. Over the years, AIFD has won numerous national awards and accolades and is ranked 13th among all the fashion colleges in India and is ranked 5th for the best placements. AIFD offered both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in FAD till recently. The technology driven pedagogical approach, delivered by well qualified and dedicated faculty ensures that the students who graduate from AIFD are a class apart from the rest. The faculty work towards not just developing knowledge but also instilling the right attitude and skills in the students for a holistic education. The activities on the campus ensure that the AIFDians are dynamic and well-groomed in fashion, social and event management skills. AIFD boasts of a world class infrastructure including library, specialized labs and facilities in sports.
